- Weather
- Mountain weather turns quickly. We work from typical conditions for the month, not from a forecast made weeks ahead. Rain, wind or an early snowfall can move a walk or cancel a ridge route on the morning itself. We say so at breakfast, not at the trailhead.
- Routes and trails
- Paths change with mud, fallen timber and seasonal closures set by the forestry service. A walk that is easy in July can be slow in late October. Guides may shorten or reroute a route for group safety, and the new route is the one we walk.
- Amenities
- Sauna, plunge tub and massage slots are booked in advance, not attached automatically to a room. Maintenance, water temperature and demand can shift availability. We confirm your times in writing before arrival.
- Wellness language
- We offer leisure, not medical care: sauna, plunge tub, massage, stretching, a quiet room and walking. We do not promise health outcomes and we keep our wording to what a guest can actually feel. For medical questions, please speak with your own doctor.
